The London Guitar Studio was established over 40 years ago as a specialist classical and flamenco guitar retailer, with an online business up and running since 2010. The shop stocks over 250 models of classical and flamenco guitars and a selection of acoustic guitars, semi-acoustic guitars, electro-classical guitars, ukuleles and ouds as well as a dedicated section of smaller guitars, accessories and music for children. The shop sells strings, cases, capos and a large selection of music and guitar accessories.
For 20 years Hayward Guitars has been servicing, building, repairing and supplying guitars in Winchester. They have a fully-equipped workshop and offer a full design, setup, build and repair service for electric and acoustic guitars, basses, ukes, and banjos. They stock a range of guitars and other instruments aimed mainly at beginners and intermediates.
in 1958, Ivor and his wife Lily opened The Ivor Mairants Musicentre, Britain's first specialist guitar store, situated in the heart of London's West End. Many of the world's best guitars and guitar accessories were introduced into Britain by Ivor at his store, which became and has remained, a mecca for professional and amateur guitarists at all levels of ability. Sadly, in December 2019 the Musicentre storefront in Rathbone Place, London closed for business. However, that the Ivor Mairants Musicentre webstore lives on.....

The Classical Guitar Academy was founded in 2015 by Ed Peczek. Ed is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His CGA offers a superb programme of study, similar to that which is delivered at conservatoire level. In 2018, he opened a Classical Guitar Shop, providing a range of carefully selected classical guitars from all over the world together with a range of strings and accessories.
Born out of the Nottingham Spanish Guitar Centre, GuitarNotes is a web-based retailer. It's run by Catherine Dickinson and Andrew Liepins, two accomplished guitarists. GuitarNotes maintains one of the largest specialist selections of music for the classical guitar and sells strings and guitar accessories.
For decades Guitar Village has been assisting guitar players throughout the UK and all over the world, (from the novice to the famous household names) find their dream guitar. The Surrey-base shop is open all year - only closed on 4 public holidays a year, giving customers every opportunity to get down to the shop for a truly unique shopping experience.

With well over 1,000 guitars spread throughout 15 demo rooms housed in a 15th century period building, there is a special kind of ‘homely ambiance’ that tends to let the guitarist feel comfortable which ultimately allows for a more relaxed guitar demo.

Miles Roberts started Kent Guitar Classics in 2001. He says, "The time has come for me to retire and cease trading. Having reached 70 years of age, my wife Christine and I have many other things that we would like to do, not the least of which is to spend more time with our sons, their partners and our grandchildren …. ‘time to smell the roses’ – as Christine puts it.
All of our owned guitar stock is sold now. We do still have some very fine new guitars by Stephen Frith, on commission sale, which will still be available for some time yet.
For enquirers of the student range of guitars by Altamira, Paco Castillo and Juan Hernandez, we are happy to advise about selection but then put enquirers in direct contact with our trade supplier who will look after you.
Our Cadenza models, which have been so fantastically successful, will continue to be made in exactly the same way but from the new year will be available by direct purchase from the maker Stephen Eden. Pricing, quality and service will remain the same. Please contact sabrina@cadenzaguitars.com.
